This website isn't focused on anything. It's a dumping ground for for anything I like while brushing up on my HTML and CSS skills. Expect to see a lot more content in the weeks to come. There's not much yet but here's this text based adventure (work in progress)

Why are you here?

I've been fascinated with the old internet since 2019. I've seen communities for webcomics with thousands of fans fade out into obscurity without ever participating in them, all because I was just too young to be there while they were active. I've watched artists with enough vision to start entire franchises rise and fall, becoming famous enough to change the face of internet culture only to fade into obscurity without warning.

Maybe it's because of life, or maybe because they moved on to greener pastures. They're still there, but there's a lot missing. Just to remind us that it used to exist, and that a long time ago someone cared enough about it to bring it into existence.

I don't know if you've felt this kind of emotion, or if there's even a word for this. But there's there's this feeling you get when you're aware there used to be so much out there but it's just not there anymore. I think it's really something, you know?

On today's internet everything's just laid out right in front of you. The algorithm makes sure the content you want is just a click away.

It's easy. It's convenient. But where's the sense of adventure?

If there's one thing I've learned, nothing beats becoming so obsessed with a certain thing you just can't find you have to navigate a maze of dead links and images that won't load. No matter how deep you go there's always more.

If I could use one word to describe it, that word would be labyrinthine.

I want to replicate that feeling so I won't even bother putting up a navigation bar at all. Because i'm too stupid to figure out how to make it work Because I want to make you search, go down rabbit holes you never knew existed, find things you never expected to see, and be surprised. On this website your mouse is the steering wheel, your computer is your ship, and you are the navigator.

So come along and explore this maze of buried dreams.
